Strike Rate and Auto-Striking
Strike Rate helps you understand how often a strategy produces the outcome you were aiming for. InPlayGuru can track this automatically for you—or let you stay fully in control if you prefer a manual approach.
Automatic game categorisation (Auto-Striking)
When a strategy has a Desired Outcome defined, InPlayGuru automatically reviews each picked game once it finishes and classifies it as either:
- Hit — the desired outcome occurred
- Miss — the desired outcome did not occur
This happens automatically, with no action required from you. As a result, your strategy history and Strike Rate stay up to date at all times.
Outcome visibility in alerts
When Auto-Striking is enabled, outcome results are not only stored in your strategy history but also reflected in your Telegram alerts after the match ends. This makes it easy to review performance even when you’re away from the dashboard.
Manual categorisation
You can always choose to classify games manually. This is useful if:
- You want full control over how results are interpreted
- Your strategy does not have a clearly defined Desired Outcome
- You’re reviewing edge cases or experimental ideas
When no Desired Outcome is set, manual categorisation is the only way to build a meaningful Strike Rate for that strategy.
