Sharing Strategies
InPlayGuru makes it easy to share strategies with others — whether that’s friends, or a wider audience. Sharing is a great way to exchange ideas, learn from different approaches, and refine your own strategies through discussion and feedback.
How sharing works
Each strategy has a unique Share Link. You can find it in the strategy menu on the My Strategies page.
Anyone who opens this link can:
- View the strategy’s rules and setup
- Add a copy of the strategy to their own account
What is (and isn’t) shared
When you share a strategy, only its structure is shared:
- Strategy name
- Desired Outcome (if set)
- All rules that define the strategy
The following information is never shared:
- Strategy history
- Strike rate and performance data
- Previous picks
This ensures that your personal results and analysis remain private at all times.
After a strategy is shared
Shared strategies are not linked after import. This means:
- Changes you make later affect only your version
- Changes made by the original author do not update automatically
If you want to adopt an updated version of a shared strategy, simply open the original share link again and import it anew. You can always review the latest rules before deciding to add it.
Sharing alerts without sharing the strategy
Sometimes you may want to share results without revealing how they are generated.
InPlayGuru supports this through Telegram channels/groups:
- Your strategy remains private
- Only picks and alerts are published
- Followers see outcomes, not strategy structure
